Behind Evil's Walls

Behind Evil's Walls

VOLUME  ONE
Introduction

In every epic battle, there is a never-ending conflict between Good and Evil.  We always see life and survival from Good’s point of view but never Evil’s.  The people of Good always have a background history.  Every story always has an action hero with a troubled past that develops into the reason why he or she is fighting for Good. The villains have history too, but their days must be spent on constant planning. In the comic world, the superheroes have always been the meat and potatoes behind a successful victory.  No matter how bad things seem, the hero always finds a way out of the stickiest situations and prevails over Evil.

Time and time again, Evil will sit back and plan these elaborate schemes and come very close to succeeding, but they are never able to finalize their victim’s demise. How would life be if Evil’s plan finally worked?  If evil finally took over the world, how would day-to-day life be for the people?  Would the entire world be cast into slavery, or would life just cease to exist?  There are many possible outcomes to this scenario.  Behind Evil’s Walls is a story that explores this concept.

Chapter
 1               Evil Reborn

There are two key evil male villains who fight Good for control over the planet. Deviant was born a hundred and thirty-five years ago and became ruler over a large territory in the western continent of Pangredya. He murdered his father for taking too long to hand over his empire.  His brother and sister were exiled because of the lack of trust he had for them.  He figured that since he was evil enough to kill his own father, his siblings were also capable of similar evil.  On a scale of one to ten, Deviant’s power ranked at three-point-five.  His best asset was his evil band of warriors. They followed his every command and were among the most skilled fighters in the world.  The organization Deviant formed and presided over was impossible to dismantle because of their loyalty to his politics. Each member of his team had a stranglehold over the territories surrounding Deviant’s kingdom. He didn’t mind sharing the wealth as long as he was the leader.
Unleashed upon the unsuspecting town folks, Genocide was accidentally set free by a group of explorers.  Two thousand years ago, he ruled the planet for a thousand years.  Genocide was a vicious tyrant who showed no mercy for the peasants of the world.  They were always cast in a continuous wave of slavery.  Those who could provide him with wealth or special services were among the elite.  The people finally found a way to stop the evil tyrant but were unable to find a way to kill him.  They used powerful ancient spells and a specially constructed holding tomb to capture him. One evil was vanquished from the world once more, and the people vowed to stamp out all evil before it could grow into an unstoppable force.
Genocide was known as a demon-beast, a being that could transform between species. No one really knew Genocide’s origin, but his transformational ability resembled the dragon race. He was so hard to break down because his power level ranked at an eight on a scale of one to ten.
Deviant and Genocide teamed up on a number of occasions in attempts to rule the world, but the powers of Good proved a bit overwhelming for the two rulers.  There was not enough planning in the world for the two rulers to receive total victory over Good; they were outnumbered a hundred to one. They knew they needed more power to overcome Good’s advantages.  In random conversations, the subject of another powerful being often came about.  Genocide remembered hearing a name being compared to his own.
“Three thousand years ago, I heard the name of an Evil power that existed eight thousand years before I reigned.  She was said to be a very stunning and beautiful woman, but she had the heart of an ugly demon.  People say she was three times as powerful and evil than I. Her name was Aliyah.”
Deviant replied, “If this Aliyah was alive today, we would surely have the advantage.  Hey, if she was three times as powerful as you, we...”
“That’s obscene; she couldn’t have been that powerful,” interrupted Genocide.
“Well, she did rule the world for five thousand years, plus she had other worlds under her control.”
“Don’t believe everything you hear.  That is nothing but hearsay, a basic story told over and over again that grew into a legend.”
“Well, anyway, if she was here with powers equal to your own, we would have enough muscle to finally be in control.”
“I was in control three thousand years ago, and I can do it again.  It’s just going to take some more intricate planning.”
“Life three thousand years ago was a lot different than now.  Magic and technology have changed over the years, the centuries, the millenniums, and Good has advanced more than anyone else. Another person such as myself would be a great help, but of course that is wishful thinking.  Resurrections are only successful when the body is still fresh.”
A voice came from the background.
“Muh, muh! That is not all exactly true.”
Deviant and Genocide turned to see Genocide’s second in command, Cormack.
“Cormack, tell us what you know about this,” said Genocide.
“About five years ago, a spell-caster was summoned to resurrect a king’s son.  The king had four sons.  The first son died at war, the second son died from an illness, and the third accidentally killed himself.  The fourth son was killed by an assassin whose arrow missed the intended target, the king. He was unable to produce any more children after the fourth son and was desperate to pass down his legacy.  The king became ill and searched the planet for a Resurrector.  They found someone who specialized in bringing people back from the dead, but the body had to be fresh.  The spell-caster attempted the resurrection and was successful, but the son wasn’t one-hundred percent.  After the king died, the resurrected son kept the spell-caster for himself in case his services became necessary again.”
Deviant responded, “So that’s why they call him the Dead King.”
Genocide continued, “I guess we know where the spell-caster is kept; now we just need to find Aliyah’s remains.  That is going to require a very detailed search.”
Deviant answered, “It’s an impossible search—she has been dead for thousands of years.”
“No matter how long it takes, I will find her.  She will be a great addition to my team.”
“Your team? If I find her, she will be with me.”
“I’m sorry, it doesn’t matter who finds her. Once she’s back, she will want to be with the most powerful being on this planet.  Once we’re together, your team, Deviant, will be my team.”
“We will see,” said Deviant before leaving Genocide’s compound.

They both wanted to be the first to resurrect Aliyah, so they each set out across the globe to find her remains.  Both rulers bumped heads often while looking for clues, and ultimately they both ended up back at square one.  After three years of searching, neither team had found a solid clue.
Genocide’s team snuck into the Dead King’s palace and recovered the spell-caster from captivity. The spell-caster told Genocide, “It might not be possible to resurrect her since she has been dead so long, but if her powers were as great as reported, there just might be a chance to raise her from the dead.”
The rulers finally decided to work as a team.  Despite having little information, they began to make some headway.  The Good caught whim of what the two Evil rulers were doing and tried to sabotage their plan.  They attempted to kidnap the spell-caster and spread misleading information, but the power of Evil kept Good at bay.
Throughout the centuries, most of the information on Aliyah had been erased from history or forgotten. The only information available consisted of twisted stories about her.  The one thing each story had in common was Aliyah’s resting place being in a particular region.  After analyzing each story, a strategist from Genocide’s camp carefully pinpointed Aliyah’s burial chamber.  Both Deviant and Genocide sent their armies out to search the area.  They searched for fourteen days and were about to give up when one of Deviant’s men accidentally stumbled across a steel door.  After they cleared the debris from around the doors, they knew they had found Aliyah’s tomb.  There was a double door entranceway, and each door was a little over twenty feet high and fifteen feet wide.  Before accessing the tomb, Deviant and Genocide took a full day to celebrate their accomplishments and prep their teams.  Each team consisted of ten men, excluding the rulers and the spell-caster.  They stood in front of the entranceway and waited to see who would make the first move.
“After you.”
“No, after you, Genocide.  Your team was the first to locate the tomb.”
“No, it was one of your men who found the tomb.”
“Better yet, how about we both go in at the same time?”
“Agreed.”
They walked toward the entrance with their teams behind them, but when Deviant tried to go through the door, he fell back as if he had walked into glass.  Genocide and his team quickly rushed into the doorway and stopped right after they crossed the barrier. Genocide stood in front of Deviant and smiled at him.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Did I forget to tell you about the barrier at the doorway?” Genocide teased Deviant.
“Let us in, Genocide! you will not get away with this!”
Genocide looked around the doorway as if unconcerned about Deviant.  “Hum, I’m surprised this barrier still works after all these years,” he said to himself.
“GENOCIDE! it will not take me that long to find a counter-spell for this!”
Genocide turned his back to Deviant and walked away.  “By that time, it will be too late,” he said.
They ventured into the tomb and left Deviant and his team behind on the other side.
Genocide and Deviant had exchanged some important information during their day of prep and celebration, but both of them purposely left out some important facts.  Genocide knew about the barrier at the doorway, but he didn’t know about the tomb’s defense mechanism.  When the team got further into the tomb, one of the traps set for unwanted visitors activated.  Sharp daggers flew from the wall and fatally wounded two of Genocide’s men.  Genocide and one more of his men were wounded from the altercation.
The sounds from the conflict could be heard from the doorway, and Deviant chuckled at Genocide’s misfortune.  “Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot to tell you about the tomb’s Dangerous and Potent defenses! Ha! ha! ha!”
As Genocide pulled a dagger from his shoulder, he muttered, “That motherfucker will pay for double crossing me.” Then he announced to his team, “Everyone should be on guard. There will definitely be more surprises.”
Farther along the way, the team entered a large central room filled with bones—animal bones, human bones, and giant monster-like bones. Cormack stopped the team before they crossed over to the other side of the room.  He held them there while he looked for clues.  He saw two large metal objects hanging on the wall behind them.  Genocide approached him and whispered in his ear, “Why are we just standing here looking at two key-like objects on a wall? Let’s go.”
Genocide sounded impatient. He rushed the team to the other side of the room.  As they moved around the room, they were not totally aware of their environment. Cormack glanced at the ceiling and saw an unusual pattern.  Before he could react, the process had already begun.  The pattern on the ceiling was for safe passage across the room, but the team went on a different route, which triggered a metamorphosis of the bones.  The muscles, veins, and skin of the deceased started to regenerate back to its original form.  When Genocide and the team realized what was happening, they ran across the room to the locked exit doors. They quickly figured out that the keys to the exit doors were on the wall directly across the room.  When they looked back across the room, the dead were staring at them with glazed eyes.
Genocide stood in front of the team and told the second commander to watch over the spell-caster.  “Everyone, stay alive! I’m going to retrieve the key.”
Genocide charged at a twenty-foot giant and slid under it between its legs, but a dragon on the other side towered sixty feet over him. Among the various creatures, other awakened dead men began to stir. Some were past victims of tomb’s raiders, and the rest were soldiers of the dead who had been placed there to protect the tomb.  They charged toward Genocide’s team and everyone scattered throughout the room to hide.  One by one, the team became a part of the tomb.  They fought their best, but their best wasn’t good enough.  Their opponents overwhelmed them.  By the time Genocide reached the key, many of his men had already fallen.  The spell-caster proved to be useful when he defeated a few of the undead tomb’s soldiers. But the giant eventually cornered him, and Cormack had to use all of his powers to ward off the monster. Cormack was the only warrior of power on the team. By the time Genocide made it back to the door, only three of his team members were left.  As they filed out of the room, the dragon cut off one of the team members.  He had to be left behind; only Genocide, Cormack, the spell-caster, and one other soldier remained.
Fear began to set in among them as they went deeper and deeper into the chamber.  They finally reached a door that was twenty by sixteen feet, but they had no way to open it.
“Cormack, what do you make of these symbols? They could tell us how to open these doors.”
“Deciphering ancient ruins is not my specialty, but I will try, Genocide.”
“You were able to crack the code back there with the dead soldiers, so hopefully you can spare us from any more…setbacks.”
“Hmmm, these patterns are…and the geometric shapes seem to…with this symbol I can tell…hmmm,” Cormack muttered as he studied the door.
Eventually, he figured the key was back in the room with the dead.  “You should have gotten both keys from the wall.  Luckily you picked the right key that opened those doors, but we need the other key for these doors,” he explained.
Genocide did not want to return to that room, so he began to gather up his power.  He prepared to force the door open with his might.  He transformed his body into a powerful and productive killer beast.  He used a series of energy blasts, but nothing happened to the door.  Then he and Cormack combined their efforts and mustered up every ounce of their powers. They hit the door and the blast brought the ceiling down around them. They barely escaped from the cave-in through the blasted hole.
When they entered the next chamber, Genocide knew they had finally found Aliyah.  The room was about fifty feet high, one hundred feet wide, and three hundred feet deep.  They could see Aliyah’s sarcophagus on a platform in the center of the room, elevated twenty feet from the floor. Stairs on all four sides led up to the top level.  Geometric designs adorned the platform, and the sarcophagus was covered in hieroglyphics.  Before Genocide had one more barrier to break down before he could begin the resurrection. The barrier, a dome-shaped force field, required a level seven or higher power-being.
Two thousands years ago, no being had a power level higher than three except Aliyah. Genocide came about two thousands years later. His kind became known as elite beings, humans with godlike powers. Genocide had little difficulty breaking through the barrier.
After they passed through the barrier, Cormack and the other soldier started to prep the room for the spell-caster.  When Genocide removed the cover from the sarcophagus, he was amazed by how well preserved the body looked after thousands of years.  It appeared as if she had just gone to sleep.  Her beauty instantly infatuated Genocide. The spell-caster stood in front of the sarcophagus and began to chant his resurrection spell.  The spell was unexpectedly long, but it made Genocide enthusiastic.  When the chanting stopped, nothing happened.
Genocide became enraged. “What happened? What’s going on? are you finishED?”
“Um, yes, I, I don’t know…” the spell-caster mumbled.
“You don’t Know? what the fuck do you mean you don’t know?”
“I, I, told you that this might be a long shot.”
“Men have died! I nearly perished in this hellhole!”  A serious look came over his face.  “You are now useless to me.  I think that it is time for us to end our contract.”
“What contract? You kidnapped me from another kidnapper…”
Genocide’s right arm transformed into an animalistic form and began to glow.  He drew back his hand to strike as the spell-caster begged for his life.
Cormack waved off the attack.  “Wait, wait! Hold on! Can you feel it? I can feel powers gathering in this room.  Something is definitely happening.”
The power level increased very gradually.  An aura formed around Aliyah’s body.  Sparkles of light illuminated the room, and then the sarcophagus began to tremble.  Her body was submerged in light as the power level increased dramatically. Genocide had never experienced such a high level of power.  It was so powerful that Cormack, the spell-caster, and Genocide’s soldier passed out, and even Genocide felt himself weaken.  He had come prepared for a case of her powers exceeding his own.  He had obtained a very powerful PCC, a Power Containment Container.  With the right spell, it could hold an exceptional amount of power.  He pulled out his container and started to chant the containment spell.  He fell to his knees while holding the container out in front of him. Slowly, Aliyah’s powers transferred into the container.  As the power level in the room decreased, Genocide regained his strength. He capped the container so as not to deprive her completely, leaving her with about twenty percent of her original power. That made her about dead even with Cormack.  He walked up to Aliyah’s body to see if she was indeed alive, and he could see her breathing.  He gazed into her beautiful face as he moved closer.  He touched her cheek and led his hand to the back of her neck.  He looked down at her body and observed her lovely cleavage bulging from her white royal burial dress.   Her hair flowed down past her shoulders, and upon her head a royal crown sparkled with rare, colorful jewels from around the world. She also wore four-inch diamond earrings, and, upon closer inspection, her dress was covered with a white flower pattern. Genocide bent down to place his ear up against her chest to listen to her heart.  He heard a strong, steady rhythm beating inside her chest.  When he stood up, Aliyah’s beautiful black eyes stared back at him.
“Oh my, you’re gorgeous,” said Genocide.
They gazed at each other for a moment and then Aliyah started to smile.  In an instant, her smile turned into a vicious wolf’s grin.  Before Genocide could react, Aliyah jumped into his arms and planted her fangs into his neck.
“GET OFF ME! AH!” he screamed and struggled.
Aliyah drained one-third of Genocide’s blood before he could get her off him.  She had her claws in his back and was trying to suck the life out of him.  In order to get her off, he had to gather up all his power so he could deliver a very powerful sonic electron shock. When he did, it sounded like an explosion.
The shock sent Aliyah flying off the platform and into the back wall, rendering her unconscious.  The others began to regain consciousness.  Genocide rushed over to Aliyah and picked her up.  He noticed a secret stone lever extending from the wall. When her body hit the wall, a secret compartment had opened. Two of Aliyah’s battle swords and a dagger were inside, so Genocide hid the PCC along with them.  He closed the compartment and then placed Aliyah back into the sarcophagus.
Cormack was the first to recover.  “Ooh, ah, what, what happen to me?”  He stumbled to his feet.  “Genocide, what happened? That power…all that energy…it was overwhelming.”
“It was the spell at work, not the power.”
The spell-caster became conscious.  “That was nothing like when I resurrected the Dead King,” he said, “The spell…”
“That spell did not resurrect a body that has been dead for several thousands of years,” interrupted Genocide, “When she comes to, we will see if she’s as powerful as they say she was.  Now come on, let’s get her out of here.”
The remaining soldier was confused. “But how? If we do make it out of this hellhole, Deviant will be waiting for us.”
“Don’t you think we thought of that?” Cormack asked sarcastically. He pulled a magical item out of his backpack.
“Is that a dimensional gate?” asked the soldier.
“Of course, we came prepared for everything,” said Cormack.
They set up the dimensional gate and teleported Aliyah back to Genocide’s palace.  By the time Deviant reached the tomb, Genocide and his crew had already left.  They took Aliyah to the most luxurious room in the palace.  Genocide had his female servant bathe and dress Aliyah in a black silk evening gown.  She lay peacefully in a pure white, extra large bed with red rose petals sprinkled around her.  Genocide stood between the two servants and placed his arms around them.
“Great work, my lovelies. She looks magnificent.”  He brought his hands down beside him and grabbed the servants’ wrists.  “But, unfortunately, you all may have to be sacrificed.”  He placed handcuffs around their wrists and attached them to the bedposts.
The ladies cried out, “Stop! What are you doing? No, wait! Please don’t leave us here! What is she going to do to us?”
“Don’t worry, it won’t be too painful.  She just wants to drink a little or maybe all of your blood.”
Aliyah had indeed been successfully resurrected, and Genocide had reunited her spirit with her original body.  When she woke up, she saw the gothic ceiling with paintings of gods.  She also felt like she wasn’t the same.  She knew her powers weren’t complete.  After spending thousands of years in the netherworld, she had to absorb life’s energy for a while.  She heard voices in the background and sat up in the bed. She saw metal chains attached to the bedpost, and then crawled toward the edge of the bed.  She leaned over and saw the two servants huddled on the floor in fear.
One of the girls cried out, “Please don’t kill us! We can be your personal servants.”
“Who are you?”
“We are nothing but Genocide’s obedient servants, and we can also be yours.  We have many skills that you will find useful.”
Aliyah lifted her hand up in a striking position.  The girls could see her fingernails grow about two inches.
They screamed, “Nooo!”
Aliyah took a swing at the chain that held the girls to the bedposts. They both got up and stood in front of Aliyah.
One of the servant girls said, “Thank you for freeing us. Does this mean you’re not going to kill us?”
“Yes,” said Aliyah.
The other servant girl asked, “So, what can we do for you?”
“I do need a little blood donation from both of you. Just close your eyes and relax; you will hardly feel a thing.”
Aliyah placed her left hand on the back of the first servant girl’s neck and planted her fangs in the side of her neck.  The servant girl reacted to the slight pain and discomfort from the bite and the blood draining.  The other girl looked on in shock.
Aliyah turned toward the other servant with her eyes shining a bright, bloody red. “I told you to close your eyes.”
Aliyah drained a pint of blood from each servant girl.  The ordeal weakened them, so Aliyah left them on the bed.  She saw that someone had laid out an outfit for her, but she had something else in mind.  With the powers she possessed, she was able to materialize an outfit to her taste.  When she exited the room, Genocide’s soldiers greeted her.
“Good day, madam, please follow me to the command center.  We will accompany you to where the supreme ruler Genocide awaits you.”
Aliyah followed the soldiers.  The palace was enormous, and the Command Center was divided into different levels of operation.  On the back wall was the highest level of operation, a place where Genocide could oversee everything and everyone in his organization.  Aliyah walked through the command center checking out his setup.  They took her to the back elevator, which led straight into Genocide’s command office.  When the elevator stopped and opened, the lead solider announced her presence.
“Genocide, sir, I’m here to announce that the legendary Aliyah is here to await your command.”
Genocide sat in his golden commander’s chair facing Aliyah.
“To whom do I owe the pleasure of my resurrection?” asked Aliyah.
“That would be me, my lovely,” responded Genocide.
“No, that would be the magician who resurrected me.  In all of my years of life, I never knew anyone capable of raising the dead after three days.”
“That...that would be me,” mumbled the spell-caster.
“Thank you for this new life.  I will make sure to repay you one day.”
“It was my pleasure to bring back someone as lovely and as graceful as you, but it wasn’t all my doing.  The awesome power that you possess was the key to your resurrection.”
“Thank you for the compliment,” she told the spell-caster. Then she turned to Genocide and said, “But I’m not feeling so well right now.”
Genocide stood up and yelled, “Hold on, God damN it! I’m the one WHO organized your resurrection, and it wasn’t easy.  I nearly died bringing YOU back to life!  You should be thanking me!”
The spell-caster added, “Oh yeah, and Deviant. He also helped find your body.”
“SHUT UP!” Genocide shouted.
Aliyah walked toward Genocide as she spoke.  “All right, I do thank you too, of course.  I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot, but why did you resurrect me?”  She stopped in front of Genocide’s desk.
Genocide looked directly into her eyes.  “Well, you’re here to help me conquer the world.  I want you to join my team so we can rule over mankind. We are the only two beings who have ruled this pathetic world. With you by my side, there will be no stopping us.”
“I like ruling alone. What makes you think I need your help?”
“A lot has changed since you last reigned—and since I last reigned.  The technology and power levels have increased dramatically within many creatures.  It has been over five thousand years since your demise.  It will not be as easy as it was back in your ancient times.  And you aren’t the only one who has ruled the world.  I ruled three thousand years ago.”
“I’ve been dead over five thousand years?”
“Yes, and that’s why you may not be feeling so well this time around. I’m surprised you had any powers at all.”
They locked eyes for a moment until Aliyah turned away.  “What role will I play in your organization?”
“I want you to be my second in command.”
Cormack was shocked to hear Genocide’s new plan,  “Excuse me, my Ruler, but can she better serve...” he began to protest.
“No,” said Genocide, “In honor of Aliyah’s previous stature in this world, she deserves to be one under me.”
“But I’ve been a loyal soldier to you every since you were...”
“Don’t question my judgment; you will follow her commands until we rule this world.”
“Yes, my lord,” Cormack assented. He cut his eyes over at Aliyah and gave her an evil stare.  She glared back at him and smiled.

Aliyah began to work with Genocide, and Genocide became more infatuated with Aliyah every passing month. But Cormack despised Aliyah.  The stories about her past had originally led him to believe she had more power than Genocide, but her power was in fact near the same level as Cormack’s.  She took command of Genocide’s army as if she had been there all along.  In every conflict, Aliyah gave orders to the soldiers, and they were always victorious. The former second Commander only won about two-thirds of his battles.
Eventually, Aliyah and her soldiers faced Twin Gates’ best fighters and were losing the battle.  Twin Gates sent five of its best warriors to defend territory of Coral from Evil’s new arrival.  They had the upper hand on the battlefield and were driving Aliyah’s army back.  Cormack’s assessment of the situation was bad and he ordered a retreat, but Aliyah vetoed his order.  He thought she was crazy for wanting to stay.  The five warriors seemed unbeatable, especially the lead warrior.  Cormack had fought with that warrior before and had almost been defeated, so he knew defeating five of them was out of the question.
Aliyah just smiled and said, “Finally, some real competition.”
As her soldiers ran away from Good’s army, she ran alone toward them. She held up against the warriors and actually seemed to be winning the battle.  Both armies sat back for a moment to watch the fight.  As Aliyah gained the upper hand on the five warriors, some of Good’s soldiers intervened and took back the advantage.  After the third intervention, Cormack finally gave an order to attack, and the battle went into its second half.  He couldn’t believe how Aliyah was handling herself against the five warriors and the soldiers.  She had techniques, skills, and agility that he had never seen displayed.  After slaying three of the warriors and wounding another, the army of Good surrendered. Aliyah’s army marched into Coral territory to start transferring the residents to their processing center.  In every territory Genocide took over, he removed the population from their homeland and transported them to another conquered territory.
Aliyah walked alongside Cormack and said, “I’m glad you finally joined in on the fight.  I wasn’t able to fight the entire army alone.”
“Your fighting skills are most impressive.  I have never seen such ability.  Kenmordre is the only one with a fighting style that comes close to your own.”
“Well, hopefully we will meet soon.  I love a good challenge.”
“I’m sorry to have doubted your ability to lead.  I can see that you have the heart of a true warrior.  I know why you ruled the world for so long.  It wasn’t the power; it was the leadership.”
“Actually, it was both. I think your boss has a lot of explaining to do.  I believe he knows  more about my lack of powers than what he has led on.”
Nothing more was said about the subject as they continued on.

After about a year, Aliyah had not lost a battle yet. The evil ones considered her the best commander ever. Genocide’s army prepared to invade the largest and final territory on their continent.  On this particular mission, Genocide accompanied Aliyah and the army on their major battle.  His army was successful in their conquest and began transporting the locals to their processing center.  Aliyah didn’t normally oversee the operation, but this was an extra large crowd.  She came upon a crying child walking alone within the crowd.  She took the child aside and knelt down on one knee.
“Hey there, hey there, little girl.  It’s all right; there’s nothing to worry about.  It’s just a little change.  You’re just going to a different place.”
The girl didn’t respond.
“Where are your parents?”
The girl said, “I haven’t seen them since the war.  I was living with my grandma and she died.  The soldier man killed her.”
“Oh, all right, well, stop crying. We are going to try to find your...”
BLAST!
Before Aliyah could finish, Genocide came up behind her and zapped the little girl. He killed the child right in front of Aliyah’s face. Aliyah made no comments and went about her way as if nothing had happened.
Genocide commented, “We don’t have time to cater to their needs.  We are not babysitting any adults or children.  If they’re not able to care for their young, then we will leave them behind.”
That event left a bad taste in Aliyah’s mouth, but she tried to focus on the bigger picture.  After the people were delivered to the processing station, Genocide and his army went back to their main base.  The army gathered in the main hall of Genocide’s headquarters to be updated on the present and future missions.  In the center of the hall stood a three level platform where all of the mission operations were organized. Genocide and other high-ranking officers often gave their orders or speeches from the top of the platform. Genocide was to give a speech about their latest victory and their future plans.  Genocide, Aliyah, Cormack, and ten other high-ranking officers marched up the steps onto the top level.  Aliyah marched behind Genocide on his right side with five other officers behind her, and Cormack marched the same way on the opposite side.  The army waited for them to reach the top level as they cheered them on from below.  As soon as Aliyah reached the top level, Genocide turned around and slapped her across the face. Smack! Aliyah turned her head to the right.  The entire hall came to a dead silence.
Aliyah asked, “Was that for helping the little girl?”
Genocide replied, “No. That was for being sloppy on the battlefield.  You allowed the enemy to penetrate your defenses, which gave them an opportunity to assassinate your superior.  They were using special wooden tips on those arrowheads, the ones designed to take special beings like us down.”
“Wasn’t I the one to remove you from the arrow’s path?”
“It should have never come to that.”
“Well, if I had my original powers or just a quarter of them, that arrow would never have come that close to me. You needed my assistance. That arrow may not have been able to immobilize you, but it would have given you a world of hurt.”
Genocide paused for a moment then turned around and continued walking.  After he took two steps, he turned around and slapped Aliyah again with even more force. Smack! “That is for the little girl.”
Cormack reached over to Aliyah and said, “Don’t worry about that; he is just too demanding when it comes to the battlefield.”
Aliyah replied, “I don’t need any motherfucking comforting.” She continued walking behind Genocide.
Toward the end of the year, Genocide’s lust for Aliyah reached its peak.  He wanted to get intimate without displaying his true feelings.  They attended a number of special events, but only as separate entities, never a couple.  Even though people made the mistake of calling them a couple, Aliyah was always quick to explain the situation. Aliyah actually spent more time with Cormack, the third in command.  When he wasn’t around, his spies would report her as acting wild, out of control, loose, and sexual with multiple partners. Some of the information was true, but most of it was exaggerated.  This only frustrated Genocide more.
He had no luck at the parties given in Aliyah’s honor. She was known to be the life of the party and the only female men couldn’t force themselves on.  At one particular event, Genocide decided to be more aggressive in his approach. Aliyah’s extremely sexy attire fit every lovely curve on her body. The one-piece black dress left her entire back exposed, as it had laces over her shoulders and crisscrossing down to her hips. The fabric also crisscrossed at the chest to show her cleavage. It was cut low enough to expose her bellybutton and just long enough to cover her. Her silky, dark hair stopped just below her shoulders. She wore no make-up except for dark lipstick. She often used a variety of lipsticks to set off her natural skin tone. Her loose personality only made her more desirable. The sight of her in the black dress motivated Genocide to advance.
Usually when he approached her, he would casually place his hand around her waist. He would also walk up to her and press his body up against hers or place a hand on the center of her back and slowly run it down just above her buttocks. On each occasion, Aliyah would reject his attempts with graceful dignity. She would do a slight turn, take a step over, or move her arms to deflect him. Genocide was clueless to her techniques until he cut in on her dance with Cormack.
“You are looking especially lovely today. You are very deserving to be my queen. We are the only beings who ever ruled this world. With our history, we will rule until the end of time.”
“We can still rule this world without me being your queen. I believe we are doing just fine the way our situation is now.”
“I am offering you the world; no one but I will be able to command you. How can you turn down an opportunity like this?”
“Have you thought that maybe I want to be the sole ruler of this world, even over you? My superior ideas and worldviews would conflict with your insignificant bleeding heart plans. There is more to ruling than just slaves and fear.”
“You will regret this day…maybe sooner than you think.”
“Hold on, my ruler. I never said I wouldn’t take your offer to be your queen.”
Genocide smiled. “I knew you would.” He pulled her closer as they danced, but Aliyah pulled away.
“I am sorry, but I would not,” she said.
Genocide stopped in the middle of the floor. He spoke aggressively in a low whisper, “I just made you an unbelievable offer and you’re just going to dismiss it with no thought. You better give yourself some time to think about your future without me. This may be a one-time offer.”
Aliyah seemed to contort her face as if in thought for the moment. “Well, sorry, I still feel the same way about us,” she said.
He pushed her away from him at arm’s length, still holding onto her biceps. They locked eyes for a few seconds before one of Genocide’s personal guards came over to him.
“Excuse me, my ruler. Your special project requires your attention.”
He continued to stare at Aliyah a few seconds then let her go and walked off with his guard.
Throughout the year, Genocide, Demitric, and a team of spell-casters had been trying to come up with a formula to successfully transfer Aliyah’s remaining powers into Genocide.  Later that night, after Aliyah’s party, the experiment went horribly wrong.  The transfer process was working for a while until her powers broke through the spell containment field and caused an unbalanced flux of power.  Genocide was severely burned all over his body and had to be carried back through the transporter by his spell-caster and placed in his bed.  The smoke from his body filled the room.  With his powers weakened, the extra barrier he had placed around his quarters gave way.
Meanwhile, Aliyah lay asleep. Her nose picked up a familiar odor—the discharge odor left behind whenever she used her power. She rose from her bed with a look of excitement and then frantically threw on her battle dress uniform to follow the odor.  Cormack was lying next to Aliyah when her movements awaked him.  He looked up and saw her dressed for battle.
He called out to her. “Aliyah! What’s going on?  What happened?”
She did not respond, and she quickly left the room.  As she ventured down the halls, she knew where the odor was coming from.  It led her directly to Genocide’s private quarters.
She banged on the door and called, “Genocide! Genocide, open up!  What are you doing in there?”
Aliyah stepped back from the door and paused for a while.  She gathered up her energy to blast the door down. Sha-BOOM! The door only had minimal damage, and a second blast barely did anything more.  She went to the adjoining rooms and tried blasting through the six feet walls. KAPOW! A protective spell barrier was preventing her from entering.  She went back out to the hall and stopped at the door again.  She drew her sword and thrust it between the double doors.
On the other side of the doors, the guards saw her blade penetrating through the doors.  One guard commented, “Damn, she is really determined to get inside.”  He ran over to Genocide’s bedroom to alert him.
“Genocide, sir, Aliyah is trying to pry the doors open.”
Genocide could barely speak. He mumbled, “Uh, did…you, uh… call Cormack?”
“Yes, but there was no answer.  The Special Task Force has been alerted.”
“Ah, she’s going to rip through... with a quickness. GET... CORMACK!”
Unbeknownst to them, Cormack was already at the doors.  He and the Special Task Force had made it there at about the same time.  He felt confused by Aliyah’s actions.
“Aliyah, what going on?” Cormack asked.
“I can smell residue of my powers arising from your ruler’s room.  I think he’s trying to absorb the rest of my power.”
“Let’s calm down, Aliyah, and wait until he’s ready for us.  Please, I can’t let you through those doors.  I am loyal to him first; everything else comes second.”
“Calm down? I know he’s the cause of my lack of powers.  I saw three additional spell-casters come through here in the past months and they haven’t been seen since, including Demitric.  If you help me, you can be second commander over the world. If not, you and this pathetic Task Force are going to experience a world of hurt.”
“It’s your call...”
Before he could finish, Aliyah started by knocking Cormack fifteen feet away onto his back. Then the Special Task Force began to attack.  The action outside Genocide’s doors made him nervous.  He constantly asked for updates, but the battle went back and forth.  After about an hour, the halls became silent.  Aliyah was finally defeated and placed into a special holding cell. It took forty Special Task Force soldiers to bring her down, and the confinement of the hall space made it difficult.

A week passed, and Cormack came to Aliyah’s cell.
“I’m sorry for the imprisonment, but your actions gave me no choice.  What you did was treason and is punishable by death.  Our Supreme Ruler will now see you. I just hope that he is merciful.”
Cormack and thirty soldiers marched Aliyah to the main hall of the headquarters.  Inside, all of Genocide’s top generals and commanders were waiting to hear her fate.  They took her to the top level and positioned themselves around her from behind.  She faced the back wall of the forum, where Genocide’s main operation was located.  Cormack raised his arms as the crowd became quiet.  He turned toward the Main Operation Center and called out to Genocide that Aliyah was ready for his ruling.
Genocide got up from his throne and stood at the platform’s edge in his main office overseeing the complex.  He floated down from his office to the top level and landed about twenty feet in front of Aliyah. He walked promptly toward her.  When he reached her, he punched her across the face, twisting her body to the right and forcing her down to one knee.
“I am the only ruler here!  No one commands me; I command YOU!”
When Aliyah stood back up, Genocide turned around to walk away but came back across with a left hook. Pop!
“Don’t forget who the supreme being is here.  I will not have any of my subjects testing me or accusing me with false accusations.”
As she returned to the upright position again, Genocide stood face to face with her.  “This will never happen again, right Aliyah.”
He punched her in the stomach, and she dropped to both knees and looked up at him.  Two thin, white streaks appeared in her hair, her teeth formed into fangs and, her nails begin to extend.  Genocide stood over her with his fist clenched, but he knew not to go any further.  Cormack could tell she was ready to react to the next blow.  Genocide turned around to take a few steps forward and then pulled out a container.
“If you want to know what I was doing, the results are in this container.  I wanted to surprise you for all of your hard effort and accomplishments on the battlefield by reuniting you with a little part of yourself.  It’s not much, but it’s all that we could find.”
Aliyah accepted the gift and placed it behind her back.
“Well, aren’t you going to open it?”
“I already know what it is. I will do so in the privacy of my own quarters.”
“But know this. If you happen to fail me in any way,  your punishment will be severe.”
“Is that all?”
“Yes, you may...”
Before he could finish, Aliyah turned around and walked away.  Genocide gazed at Aliyah with a nefarious look as she left the top level.

Chapter
2    Good’s United Enforcements

Over in Paola, the continent of the largest Good organization on the planet, the Superior Council was keeping records on the events happening in Eastern Pangredya.  The Superior Councilors called for a major meeting at their Priority Hall building.  That was where all of the serious problems of the world were discussed. The Superior Council was made up of seven members, and their bodies of government consisted of one member for each of the twenty-five territories in the continent.  Their Terrestrial planet had a land mass area five times as large as earth’s. Each member of the Council was like a president over hundreds of millions.
They conversed about the rise of Genocide’s army.  They are also aware of Aliyah’s return, but they didn’t know much about it.  From what they had learned about her past, they expected more out of her.  She hadn’t shown them any serious threat.  The reports from the battlefields described her as a “class two.”  The Good in the other continents near Genocide’s forces requested assistance from the Superior Council.  After the second largest Good organization had fallen, things began to get more serious.
Everyone at the meeting agreed to send Good’s top warrior over to Orbetex. Kenmordre and five thousand soldiers left on their way to aid the weaker nations.  The Superior Councilors wanted to speak with Kenmordre before he left for the mission, so they requested his presence.  They had heard so much about the young warrior that they wanted to get extra formal with him.
Paola hadn’t been involved of any serious activity for five hundred years, so the uprising dominated the public consciousness. All across the nation, people spoke about Genocide and Aliyah.  It was in the papers, on the radio, and on television everywhere.
Kenmordre arrived at the Council Hall the day before his schedules departure.  He entered their comfort room, where the Superior Councilors often relaxed.
“Good day, Superior Councilors, it’s a pleasure to meet you all,” Kenmordre announced.
Anderson, the oldest of the members, replied, “No, the pleasure is ours, young man.  Go have a seat, sit back, and relax.  Let me introduce you to everybody.”
“No need to do that. I already know my Superior Councilors.  You are Anderson, the oldest member.  The newer members, in order, are Vandyke, Weston, Virgilio, Tamara, Jana, and Lamar.”
Anderson smiled. “Well, well, I see you’re not just an excellent fighter; you also pay attention to your political surroundings.”
“What would you like to drink?” asked Tamara.
“I would like a Zinfandel from the fourth millennium.”
“Wow, I see our man has great taste.”
As Tamara turned to retrieve his drink, his eyes couldn’t help shifting back and forth upon Tamara’s backside.
Anderson noticed and said, “That isn’t all he has great taste in.”
The group snickered at the comment. They sat for a while and talked about their life histories and pleasantries.  At the end of their meeting, Vandyke made a personal comment extended by the Superior Councilors.
“Well, Kenmordre, it was a pleasure meeting you.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.”
“We want to let you know, if you have any problems on the battlefield, see anything strange...”
Jana added, “Or for any reason, please come to us first.  We will always help you.”
Tamara said, “You can call on me at anytime.”
Lamar added, “Hold on there! My man is happily married.”
Kenmordre laughed. “Well, thank you for your hospitality.  And I’m honored to be in direct contact with you.  I promise to bring victory to the Superior Council and the continent of Paola.”
“We couldn’t ask for anything more,” said Anderson.

Kenmordre returned home, and his friends were waiting at his house to see him off.  He pulled into his driveway and started to get out of the vehicle.  As soon as he exited the vehicle, two young student fighters attacked him.  The first attack came from a female who had been staked-out in the tree in front of his house.  She dropped down from overhead and attempted to strike him.  Kenmordre placed his hands over his head to block the blow from above.  He grabbed a stick, twisted his body around to face his attacker, and pulled the stick toward him.  At the same time, the second attacker jumped from the bushes and rushed toward him.  When the female attacker pulled back on the stick, Kenmordre released it, causing her to fall on her back.  When the second attacker reached him, he attempted to place a rope around his neck, but Kenmordre bent over and twisted away from the attacker.  He grabbed the back of his attacker’s shirt to keep him immobile then kicked him in the back.  It forced him onto the other attacker, so both of them lay on the ground.
Kenmordre looked at the two attackers and smiled. “You got to do better than that.  Didn’t you learn anything?”
The female attacker said, “We took it easy on you. We didn’t want to injure you before your big day.”
“Don’t lie to me, Xiang.”
“She’s not lying; you know we can do better than that.”
“So you want to add to the lie, Burkina?”
Burkina replied, “It’s the truth.”
Xiang said, “Honest.”
“Come on, you nuts. Let’s go into the house. I bet there’s a going-away party waiting for me, right?”
The two teens didn’t say a word.  When Kenmordre opened the door, the foyer entrance was empty.  He looked to the left toward the living room area and then into the entertainment room.  Straight ahead, two stairways led to the upstairs balcony.  They came down in a half-circle with both of the bottom steps facing the entrance doors.  In the center of the two stairways, a hallway led to the kitchen.  Kenmordre went to the living room first then worked his way to the family room. He went right from the family room into the kitchen and through the hallway to the dining room. He finally went to the entertainment room.  When he went back to the two young apprentices, he seemed disappointed.
“Where is everybody?”
“I don’t know what you mean,” said Xiang.
“You know, the party.”
“I don’t know anything about a party.  I know your wife is here.”
“Hm, I guess she’s upstairs.  Well, at lease I don’t have to worry about having a lot of people in my face.”
“Yeah, that’s lat...” Burkina began to say.
“That’s what?” asked Kenmordre, “Lat? Later? As in later tonight?”
“Man, you got a big mouth,” said Xiang.
“You guys go into the entertainment room. I have some entertainment to do on my own.”
The two apprentices went into the room and Kenmordre started upstairs.  When he reached to the top of the stairs and turned the corner down the hallway, he began to take off his clothes.  When reached his bedroom door, he was all ready butt-naked.  He rushed in the room yelling, “Get ready for the big...” And there were all of his friends waiting to surprise him.  He stood there frozen for a second, and his male friends’ smiles turned into frowns and the women’s faces lit up.  He bolted back out the door as laughter followed him. “Ha, ha, ha! We are supposed to be surprising you! Nice extension cable! Tight butt, tight butt! Ha, ha, ha!”
He closed his bedroom door and saw the two young apprentices in the hallway.  He quickly picked up his clothes and went into a nearby bedroom.  Before he went in the bedroom, Xiang ran up to him and squeezed his buttocks.
Throughout the afternoon, Kenmordre and his friends spent their time chatting about current events, sports, and their lives.  Later, near sunset, the party came to an end.  Isaiah and Keisha, a couple that had been childhood friends of Kenmordre, spoke to him before they left the party.
“Hey man, you know I’m very proud of you.  I knew you had special skills, but I didn’t think that you would accomplish so much.  We know you have been in battles before and came out fine—shoot, pretty much untouched—but you haven’t faced someone as serious as Genocide,” said Isaiah.
Keisha hugged Kenmordre. “He’s right, and Aliyah is said to have excellent fighting skills.  She has been leading his army in most of their victories.  She is the one you will probably meet face to face.”
Isaiah concluded, “We know that you will prevail, but we just want you to stay extra focused.”
“Thank you, my friends. Hopefully I’ll be back shortly.  Be well.”
Soon after, Daric and her two daughters passed Kenmordre on the way out and gave their farewells. “And you be careful out there.  Maybe one day you and my husband will get a chance to fight together.”
“It would be nice, but Regan is a part of the Big Blade of Five.  He works for a different Band of Justice.  They are joined together by an honor code that binds them forever. Plus, the Big Blade of Five will never fight for the military,” said Kenmordre. Then he said goodbye to the two daughters.  “Goodbye, Clare, goodbye, Christina.”
Christina said, “Bye, bye.”
Clare said, “Bye, bye, Kenmordre. Maybe one day you’ll be strong enough to join my daddy’s group.”
“Maybe one day I will be, little girl. Goodbye, my darlings.”
He hugged the kids and the mother, and then the family went on their way. Last to leave the house was a friend from his first training school. They had been friends throughout four schools and six years of training.  Kenmordre recognized the importance of his friend eagerness to fight in this small war.
“Austin, Austin, I’m sorry man.  Maybe next time.  I’m the only one of the top ten they sent.”
Austin responded, “You’re the best of the top ten they sent.  This battle must be very important for them to send you.  I heard Genocide already conquered the entire Eastern continent of Pangredya, plus the continent of Novadi.”
“Yes, I think it is.  Genocide hasn’t tried to advance like this since he and Deviant were teamed up ten years ago.  This new evil seems to be his spark.”
“Hopefully, one day, I will get a chance to put that spark out myself.”  Austin saw Kenmordre’s wife, Kaylin, standing by the entertainment room entrance.  “I’ll  leave you with your wife.  I think she wants to give you something FIERCE tonight.”
They shook with both hands as Kenmordre concluded, “And I can’t wait.” They laughed. “But don’t wish for battle, my friend, because you should never take joy in killing.”
Austin nodded his head and left Kenmordre with his loving wife.  He stood by the door and watched Austin enter his vehicle.  His wife came up behind him and grabbed him around the waist.
“What’s wrong, my darling?” she asked.
“The pressure...everyone expects me to win: the Superior Councilors, my friends, the nation.”
“Don’t worry about that. We will love you no matter what.  I will always be by your side.”
“I know I can count on you and my friends, but everyone else?  It’s not the fame I worry about but...”
“You don’t want to let anyone down.  People look up to you. But they do it because of the type of man you are, not because of how many battles you’ve won.  You have a pure and honest quality that people admire.  That’s why they look up to you, and that’s why I love you.”
Kenmordre understood and appreciated her words, but he still felt tense—until she started kissing him.  He responded, “Um, uh...okay now that is what I’m talking about.” They both laughed and continued kissing. They closed the front door, and the night belonged to them.
The next morning, Kenmordre left for Orbetex.  Their basic transportation was magical teleporters, dimensional gates that cross through space and time.  He arrived at the Base Teleport Station with the other five thousand soldiers, and they received their last briefing from the government.  After crossing over, they had another briefing with their allies’ armies.  They were told they had about three more months to prepare for the war.  After the briefing, they got settled in and went about their business as usual.

Chapter
  Back Behind Evil’s Walls

A gathering of the minds took place inside the central palace hall.  Genocide and his top commanders and generals developed their next strategic plan.  They had already conquered Eastern Pangredya and Novadi, and it was time to figure out the best strategy to dominate Western Pangredya.
The fourth commander, Yushuni Redd, faced the main entrance.  He was the only survivor of Genocide’s soldiers who had gone into Aliyah’s tomb to resurrect her.  Like Genocide, he also had a secret crushed on her.  Yushuni and Cormack sat discussing rumors about Good sending their best fighter into battle when Aliyah walked in.
“...And if he’s going to be out there…” Yushuni said before noticing Aliyah. Upon seeing her, he told Cormack, “Oh my God, she is a Goddess.”
Aliyah was wearing a red bikini with a shear dress over it that hung midway to her hips.  She also had matching six-inch red heels, a gold choker necklace, diamond earrings, and a gold and diamond tiara.  She had a diamond ring on every other finger, a gold waist-bracelet, and gold armbands.  The entire hall came to a complete silence as they gazed upon her beauty.  Immediately, Cormack and Genocide detected the aura illuminating Aliyah. It shined with her freshly consumed powers.  She ignored the stares and went directly to her throne next to Genocide.
Their seats were in the back of the hall, and a set of tables placed twenty-five feet apart stood in front of them. At each table, thirty people could be seated. The third and fourth commanders sat directly across from Aliyah and Genocide on the opposite end of the arc.  After Aliyah sat down, everyone else sat down.  Genocide was the last to sit.  He spoke to the group before he sat down.
“Aliyah does not start the meeting; I do.  Now, let us begin.”
They discussed what part of the Western Pangredya to attack first, the northern hemisphere or the southern hemisphere.  Opinions were divided, and the majority wanted to attack the southern hemisphere.  Deviant controlled the majority of land in that area.  His army and six bands of mercenary gangs were organized into a powerful foe.  The head members of each band had a power-level of two, and each controlled a territory in the southern hemisphere of Western Pangredya.  They would be very difficult to defeat, but since Genocide had gained control over Eastern Pangredya, he had amassed a larger army than Deviant’s.  They believed it would be easier to attack Deviant than to go head-on with Good’s best warrior and five thousand of their soldiers right away.
The minority of the group wanted to attack the northern hemisphere of Pangredya.  The smaller land area there seemed like an advantage, but Good controlled the majority of that land.  There were only five territories, but with Good’s best warrior from Paola and five thousand experienced soldiers with high-tech weapons and equipment, it seemed slightly easier to conquer them than attacking Deviant’s army.  Genocide was hinting toward focusing his attention on Deviant, and then Aliyah spoke.
“I think the better solution for Western Pangredya is attacking the northern hemisphere first.  Once we have those territories, Deviant’s followers will back out and join us. We will be too large for him.  Deviant’s territory will be the only place we will have to attack. He will not give up without a fight. I have spoken to a couple of his closes allies.  They said that if we take over the lands in the North, they would side with the dominant force.  We will not lose to the North, I promise you.”
Everyone seemed convinced by Aliyah’s speech, and their cheers grew into a roaring chant for her.  Genocide stood up and said, “So it is final.  We will attack the North in three months.  This will be the last week before we start preparing for the war.  Now, let’s party in the name of victory!”
The group loudly cheered, “Hooray!”  Everyone began to leave the meeting. When Aliyah got up to leave, Genocide grabbed her by the arm.
“Everything is riding on your promise. I was generous to give you more power.  I can tell it has doubled.  I can see the aura around you.  Don’t repay me with failure. If you do, the punishment will be very severe.  That’s my promise.”
They exchanged evil stares before Genocide let her go.
He couldn’t wait much longer.  He planned to sabotage Aliyah’s next battle and use her body as payment for failure.
Three months passed, and the moment of truth arrived.  Genocide gathered his entire army at the water’s edge near the castle’s twin gates.  They prepared and boarded their battle ships.  Across the sea, a small army of Good soldiers stood on the coast of Orbatex. Genocide’s army fought well and began to win the battle. Twin Gates sent their remaining ships and planes over to Orbatex. They planned to meet Genocide’s army in the middle of the sea and fight it out there.  Twin Gates and Orbatex had a better chance of winning if they could keep the battle on the water.  Their equipment was also slightly more advanced than Genocide’s, but Genocide’s ground force was larger and stronger. Good’s leadership knew they had to keep Evil’s army off their land.
Genocide’s navy sent seven ships to Orbatex, and Orbatex countered by sending fourteen ships.  Genocide ordered a second wave of seven more battleships to join the combat. Orbatex sent fourteen more ships. They knew Genocide didn’t have a chance in the water.  They suspected Genocide had made a pact with a bordering territory to cross over on land.
The battle in the water raged on.  Genocide’s navy crippled two enemy ships and sank one other, but they lost the first group of their own ships. Genocide’s next seven ships fought against twenty-five ships. Genocide’s army also launched a ground attack on the border of Ankleridge and Orbatex.  When the Orbatex’s head commander heard about it, he concentrated most of his ground forces on the invading army.  The forces he sent included Kenmordre.  Kenmordre felt like something was amiss.  He strongly suggested to the head commander not to react in haste against Genocide’s ground forces, but the commander’s pride didn’t allow him to listen to reason.
As Good’s navy wiped out Genocide’s second wave, they realized the number of bodies and captives rescued from the water was extremely low.  They calculated about twenty to thirty people operating each ship.  That was highly unusual because it normally took at least five hundred just to operate a battle ship, not including the additional soldiers it took to operate the weapons on board.  The navy also realized that they were a lot closer to Twin Gates’ shoreline than had been expected, as the fight drifted further along the shoreline. When Good’s navy commander reported his findings back to the army’s commander, they discussed the idea that Genocide may send the majority of his army over the border. However, they quickly discovered he had only sent one platoon to fight.  At that point, Orbatex’s army was about fifteen hundred miles away from the shore, and the navy was about a thousand miles away.  It seemed impossible for Genocide to gain access across Good’s other borders.  Orbatex patrol ships carefully guarded the only other Evil controlled territory.
Good’s military commanders felt confident, but Kenmordre knew better.  He figured that with most of the army and the navy away from the shoreline, Good’s forces would be vulnerable to a direct attack.  When he mentioned his ideas to the commanders, they chuckled at his comments.
One commander stated, “Genocide still has no way to get past our navy. Our barrier is set up so tight that he has no chance of bypassing it. His strategy is weak, and his tactics are poor. He has the powers, but he is also a bad commander.”
Kenmordre answered, “Yes, you might be correct about him, but if they are following Aliyah’s leadership, you may have already lost the war.”
“Nonsense, I’ve fought in over a hundred battles and commanded in about thirty-five of them. I have the highest honor degrees in Advanced Technical Support and am an Attack Command Specialist. Aliyah would have to be a genius.”
As soon as the commander made that statement, he heard a cry over the radio calling for help.
“Commander Jake, Commander Jake, three submarines and three battleships just got here and are coming up on shore.  They came out of nowhere! We, we, couldn’t detect them on our radar or the magic-indicator.  It’s...it’s…”
“Calm down, soldier. What’s their position?”
“ON TOP OF US! ON TOP OF US!”
The communication went silent.
“GOD DAMN! What the FUCK just happened?”
Kenmordre said, “It looks like Genocide, or should I say Aliyah, found a way past your navy.  Now they will be advancing straight into the Capital City.  We have to head him off right at the city lines. If he takes over the city, he wins the war.”
The commanders back at the shoreline looked out at the water to watch the battle. To the commanders’ surprise, the warships beached and sent waves of soldiers out on mini-boats. Each ship seemed to carry two thousand soldiers, not including the ship’s operators.  Twelve thousand of Genocide’s soldiers rushed the shores of Orbatex.
Orbatex’s army made it to the city’s edge just in time to meet Genocide’s army. The battle took about three days before it reached its peak.  Aliyah sent two thousand soldiers to flank the city from the south and two thousand to flank it from the north.  She split up with a platoon of soldiers and started to attack the northwest area of the city boundary.  Kenmordre was busy with Genocide’s army on the southwest side.  The battles led them into a park on the western edge of the city.  There were residential homes and small commercial structures within the area, but everyone in the city had already evacuated that area.
The park set the stage for the most important battle of the war.  Aliyah and her soldiers advanced toward the northwest, Yushuni’s troops advanced in the west, and Cormack’s troops tackled the southwest.  They all merged at the west border of the park.
Kenmordre and his soldiers were pushed back into the park along with the other armies fighting Genocide’s advancing troops. The Good and Evil armies marched toward each other and met at the heart of the park.  Only two hundred yards of land and small trees separated the two sides.  The main weapon of choice on the planet was the sword, but mechanical weapons were becoming a wartime favorite fast.  Good’s technology had surpassed the uses of bullets, where as Evil could not. Only through illegal trades and underhand dealing is how Evil obtains their small arsenal of laser weapons. The lasers gave Good an edge, but it didn’t seem to matter.  Each army had about the same number of tanks and military vehicles, but due to Genocide’s surprise attack, Evil had the scale tipped on their side.
Using binoculars, Kenmordre was able to see his most challenging adversary for the first time.  She amazed him.  He thought to himself, “Wow! How can something so gorgeous and tiny be so nefarious?”
Aliyah, Cormack, and Yushuni marched toward the center of the park without their armies.  Kenmordre alerted his army and suggested that his leaders go out there and meet with them.  Being somewhat of a soldier himself, it was not his position to represent the army, but none of his commanders had the guts to meet the enemy at the center.  The commanders decided to send Kenmordre instead.  He didn’t mind carrying out the task, but he thought the commanders were cowardly, especially since none of them wanted to accompany him.
Kenmordre walked out to the center as Aliyah and company waited for him.  Once he arrived, Aliyah said, “So, you must be Kenmordre.”
“Yes, and I believe that you are the lovely Aliyah.  You know, you should be fighting for Good.”  He gazed at her. “We could surely use someone with your...talents on our side.  Where’s the mastermind behind this, Genocide?”
“Well, you just happen to be talking to the mastermind.  I developed our entire battle strategy. Genocide couldn’t even figure out how to put on his armor.  All he does is stand in the background and collect the rewards. I guess your commanders were too pathetic to meet us out here, so they sent you.”
Kenmordre opened his mouth to defend his commanders but was cut off.
“Don’t try defending your commanders,” said Aliyah, “they sent you here, so this is now your problem.  It is obvious that this battle is almost over.  Our armies are pushing your people back into the city.  Once we reach the city, a lot of innocent people will get hurt. We suggest you surrender now before things get too messy.”
“Well, it seems that you have us in a box, but I’m going to have to decline your offer.  When you fight for Good, there is always a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.  And when that light shines...”
Aliyah, Cormack, and Yushuni stared back at him as if he was speaking a different language.
Cormack interrupted, “What?  You believe that shit?”
“It’s what warriors believe to stay strong in times of crisis. They teach us that as soldiers,” said Kenmordre.
“I hope they taught you how to live with the death of thousands of innocent people over your head,” Yushuni added.
“This meeting is over,” said Aliyah.  “When I return to my army, we are going to plow right through you and conquer this territory.  Have a nice day.”
She turned around and walked away.  Cormack and Yushuni took a few steps backward before they turned and walked away.  Kenmordre felt trapped and confused. He tried calling out to Aliyah, but she kept walking.
“Aliyah! Aliyah, hold on! Let me talk to my...”
Then it came to him.  He remembered an ancient ruling that hadn’t been used for over two thousand years.  To activate the rule, a chant had to be spoken by the challenger.  Both opponents had to be on the battlefield, the person being challenged had to be evenly or close to evenly matched, and the opponent always had the right to deny the challenge but in doing so would lose one-fourth of his or her army. The winner then holds or takes over the land or item(s) being fought over, and the loser has to give up and hold off his or her attack for one year.  The challenge had to be between two rulers or the commanders in charge.
Aliyah was about ten yards away from her army when she heard the chant.  The wind started to pick up, and the sound of thunder roared softly.  The more he chanted, the stronger the wind became and louder the thunder clapped.  Cormack and Yushuni were at a loss, along with everyone else.  Only Aliyah, Kenmordre, and Genocide knew what was going on.  Although he thought he was at a safe distance, Genocide lagged just behind Aliyah’s army.  When Kenmordre finish the chant, Aliyah turned toward him to accept his offer.
She chanted out a few words and finished with, “Your challenge has been accepted.”
Cormack asked, “What challenge?”
“Follow me. I’ll explain it to you while I get my battle gear.”
When Kenmordre went back to his army, the commander wanted to know what he had done.  He became furious.
“You sent me out there by myself,” replied Kenmordre, “with no radio, I might add.  That was your job.  Not to mention leaving the beach wide open for the invasion. Just wait until the Supreme Council hears about this. They’re going to love it.  You have no choice. You have to accept. There really is no other choice!”
The commanders looked at each other and agreed.
“Great,” said Kenmordre, “if I win, this should make your cowardly asses look good.  If I lose...well, I’m sure you will find a way to put the blame on me anyway.  Take notes; this is how real warriors handle business.”

Aliyah arrived at her private vehicle with Cormack at her side.  Yushuni noticed something running from behind the car.  When he moved over to take a good look, it seemed to be a large shadow of a cat-like animal.  He could only see a flash of eyes and a tail.  At the time, he paid it no mind.
Cormack told Aliyah, “You can’t make a decision like this without discussing it with Genocide.  He must be told.”
“It’s too late anyway.  I am the leading commander, and I have already accepted the challenge.  I meet the requirements to make this judgment.”
“If we don’t honor these rules, twenty-five percent of our soldiers, at random, will become automatically ill.”
“Yes,” said Aliyah. She took a big gulp of blood from a cup.
“I’m going to have to alert Genocide.”
“You do that. I have a date with a handsome warrior I may have to kill.”
Aliyah walked back out to her army’s battle line.  Kenmordre was already at the center of the park.  He stood waiting for the first big battle of his life.  Fifteen-thousand soldiers were counting on him, and a news team was there recording the event for a documentary.
Aliyah and Kenmordre stood face to face.  She looked sharply into his eyes as he positioned himself for battle.

Chapter
4   The Fight: Aliyah vs. Kenmordre

“When you find yourself losing this battle, I will give you the option to surrender before I kill you.  As other people have experienced, there is still honor in surrendering,” said Aliyah.
“Well, that will be something I’ll never...”
Before Kenmordre could finish, Aliyah pulled out her sword and started to show off her swordplay.  She twirled the sword around in her hands, tossed it into the air, and caught it behind her back. She placed the sword on her chest and let it roll down her body until it reached her feet, and then she flipped the sword with her foot back into the air and caught it with her left hand.  Kenmordre watched, amazed, but he never broke his stance.  She twirled the sword with her left hand and flipped it  so the tip of the sword balanced on her right middle finger.  It pricked her finger and a trickle of blood ran down her hand.
“Damn, I must be out of practice,” she muttered.
After that display, Kenmordre’s doubts grew, but he never showed any sign of despair.  “Fancy, but showmanship won’t get you a win,” he said.
He charged at Aliyah and delivered two direct slashes and a power blast from his sword, but Aliyah successfully defended herself.  She counterattacked with a few slashes and emitted an electrical shock blast from her hand.  He blocked the attacks, but it left him in an awkward position.  She took advantage of his situation and disarmed him.  As his sword hit the ground, Kenmordre wasn’t far behind.  He picked up his sword and got back into his defensive stance.
Cormack arrived with Genocide, and they watched as Kenmordre and Aliyah continued to fight.
“Why didn’t you come for me after you disarmed me?” Kenmordre yelled to Aliyah.
“I just wanted to make it a little more interesting.”
“Well, don’t expect me to do the same.  I don’t think this is a game.  There is too much at stake.”
Kenmordre attacked again.  This time he used a power blast first, four direct slashes, and a power slash.  The power slash knocked Aliyah’s sword up over her head.  Before Kenmordre could react, Aliyah took one giant step backward and turned around.  Within the same motion, she swung her other leg up over her head and kicked her sword backward.  As the sword flew over her head, she stepped under it, turned around, caught the sword, and blocked Kenmordre’s sword as he attempted a strike.  They paused for a second.
“They say you’re the best.  I can see why, but I’m better,” said Aliyah.
It took a while, but Aliyah disarmed him again.  This time, she gave chase as Kenmordre slid onto his sword as if he was sliding into second base.  While lying on his side, he had to defend himself as soon as he retrieved his sword.  She kept him on the ground defending off her attacks.  Once he got up, he knocked Aliyah’s sword back over her head. She had to double back and was able to catch the sword just inches before it hit the ground.  For the first time during the fight, she became angry.  He could see the intensity on her face, and he responded with a smile.
“You don’t seem too cocky now,” he said.
Aliyah attacked him with a blast and a double slash, and then another blast and a double slash, followed with three more sets. Then she started to diversify her attacks.  She would slash and then give a left hook to his jaw then switch hands, slash, and follow with a right hook. She switched hands again, slashed, and followed with a roundhouse.  This took him completely off guard and sent him flying to the ground.
The battle began to seem grim for the young warrior as Aliyah kept him fighting at ground level.  At that point, Genocide thought it would be a perfect time to sabotage the fight.  With his magic, Genocide was able to use an electronic device to incorporate itself into Aliyah’s bio-system.  The device was designed to reroute and shutdown a person’s nervous system from the inside without being detected by the victim.  Aliyah’s assault on Kenmordre was coming to a close.  He bounced back onto his feet, but each time he tried to attack, she would manage to knock him back down.  The final knockdown left Kenmordre in a bad position.  He was knocked flat on his belly with his arms stretched out.  Aliyah tried to cut his head off, but he managed to block her blow by extending his sword back over his neck; immediately after, she mounted his back with her sword still pressing down over his neck.  Kenmordre was not able to wiggle free as her sword drew closer and closer to his neck.
Aliyah gave him one last chance to surrender. “This fight is over.  I urge you to surrrrr...”
At that moment, Aliyah froze for a split second and released the pressure she had on Kenmordre.  This gave him enough time to quickly tilt her off balance.  By the time she came to, she had lost her hold on him.
“...render,” she finished.
She fell off his back and couldn’t figure out how she had lost her hold on him.
“I don’t know how you did that, but there won’t be a next time,” she told him.
Kenmordre remained focused and didn’t comment on her statement.  She attacked him, but he held his ground.  He had an uncanny ability to adapt to difficult situations, but Aliyah’s adaptability was better. She knocked his sword away from his body, leaving his midsection wide open for a forward thrust, but she froze for a split second again and he was able to block her sword and injure her in the process.  After he blocked her attack, her midsection was left wide open.  She tried to jump back, but he gave her a slash across her stomach.  His confidence began to come back.
He grinned as he said, “Well, it seems like you lost. I drew first blood.”
Aliyah looked down to check her wound and then answered, “The battle isn’t over until one of us gives up, is unable to defend him or herself, or receives a fatal injury.”
When she looked back up, her face and body displayed small, black, geometric designs, and a black line ran across her eyes. A thin line ran down her bottom lip and continued down her neck in a circle, stopping just above her breasts, and a hook shaped design appeared on the inner parts of each arm.
“You are now about to be defeated, Kenmordre,” she said.
He tried to hide it, but her appearance intimidated him.  Everyone viewing the battle became tense, including Genocide.  He knew he had to make her lose on her next attack.  When she attacked, Kenmordre was able to stay one step ahead of her.  He slashed her across her back, on the upper left thigh, and across her right cheek.  Aliyah had never been in a situation where she was defeated in such a matter.  She stood in front of Kenmordre with her back turned toward him, talking to herself.
“He can’t be that good; something isn’t right.  I know my skills are better than THAT.  CORMACK! CHECK TO SEE IF GOOD IS USING MAGIC TO AID THEIR WARRIOR IN THIS BATTLE!”
Fearing that his device might be detected, Genocide canceled her request. “Cancel that order, commander.  This is a fair fight. ALIYAH, STOP STALLING AND FINISH HIM OFF!”
To untrained eyes, Aliyah’s body motions seemed to be continuous, but highly skilled fighters could detect otherwise.  Cormack saw her distorted motions but they seemed so minor that he paid it no attention.  Kenmordre also paid it no mind, but during the last attack it became more obvious.  Her moves seemed a little too hesitant when compared with the time she had him pinned to the ground.
Aliyah turned back to face her opponent once more. “It seems that you have a guardian angel watching over you.  Come on, let’s get this over with.”
Aliyah never quit.  She charged Kenmordre and gave him everything she had.  Genocide could barely keep up with her movements.  When Kenmordre knocked Aliyah’s sword away from her body, her midsection was left wide open.  Genocide had to freeze her for nearly a full second for Kenmordre to deliver his deathblow.  He stabbed Aliyah through the heart with his sword.  After doing so, his victory felt shallow to him because he knew something hadn’t been quite right with their match.

Chapter
5         The Punishment:
Genocide vs. Aliyah

Good’s army exploded in celebration and cheers while Evil’s army sulked and moaned in sorrow.  After Kenmordre pulled his sword out of Aliyah, she slowly felt to the ground on her hands and knees.  Cormack paused for a while in disbelief, but Yushuni immediately rushed to her aid.  With Yushuni’s help, she sat up and looked at Kenmordre.
He replied, “I’m sorry that it has to end this way.  You are very beautiful and a worthy opponent.  I wish it could have been different, but your death won’t be forgotten.”
“Thanks...for the compliment, but it will take more than just a...sword through the heart to kill me.  It’s not that easy.”
Yushuni picked Aliyah up in his arms to carry her back to her vehicle. Before he could even move, she hissed, “What are you doing? Put me down. I am not your damn baby.”
Honoring the rules, Genocide called off the attack and went back to Eastern Pangredya.  The top commanders went straight back to the palace after two days of travel, and the soldiers returned to the continent.  Everyone was quite furious about the turn of events.  Aliyah was the subject of all the conversations.  She recovered from her wounds during her travel back, but when she arrived, everyone would turn their back toward her whenever she went.  Aliyah was enraged with Genocide and wanted some answers from him.  She looked for him, but he couldn’t be found.
She came upon Cormack and asked, “Where is Genocide?”
“He’s at his personal meditation chamber.”
“Where is it?”
“I’m sorry, but he doesn’t want to be bothered, Aliyah.”
She wanted to say something but held it in.
“What happened to you out there? You were totally in control at the beginning of the fight. Then...”
“Hold on to that thought.  Maybe you should ask Genocide that question. I think he knows more about what happened out there.”
Later that night, a soldier came to Aliyah’s chamber.  When Aliyah opened her door, she was wearing a three-piece red lace lingerie outfit.  The soldier stood in front of her in an informal military position.  He gazed at her with a disappointed look, not about her appearance, but about her recent loss.
Aliyah spoke first.
“Is there a reason why you’re here, soldier?  And stand at attention while you are in my presence.”
The soldier didn’t comply.  “Genocide wants you to meet him in his chamber.”
“Finally! You tell him I’ll be there in about an hour.”
“Just don’t keep him waiting too long.”  The soldier turned to walk away.
“Hold on, soldier, I have one more thing.”
“Yeah?”
Aliyah grabbed the soldier by his chest plate and slammed him into the wall.  “You dumb son-of-a-bitch.  As long as I’m your leader, you better give me some respect no matter what happens.”  She smacked him around until he gave her the respect she deserved.
Aliyah came to Genocide’s chamber dressed in her full battle gear.  One of Genocide’s sex slaves greeted her at the door and escorted her to Genocide.  When she entered the room, his favorite sex slave and three other women were catering to him.  Aliyah couldn’t wait; she started with the questions as soon as she saw him.
“Why the hell didn’t you scan for any magical devices out there?  I knew something wasn’t right and I requested a scan.  You had no goddamn right to undermine my command.  You...”
Genocide stood up quickly, tipping his favorite companion onto the floor. “You better watch what you say to me! Don’t blame me for your lack of performance.  You lost a fair fight and wagered the outcome of the war on it.  Now hundreds of men have died for nothing, all because of you.  Normally, that type of failure constitutes an immediate death for the commander, but I will spare you that fate and instead make you my leading servant.  You can be my new favorite companion.”
Aliyah chuckled at Genocide’s request.  “Ha, ha, ha! That’s very funny. That’s cute, but we know that will never happen.  I suggest you go back to your meditation room and come up with something more reasonable.  If you had scanned the area, you would have found that they were cheating with some type of magical device.”
Genocide walked over to his gear. As he placed his battle gear onto his body, he told Aliyah, “I told you not to fail me, that the consequences would be great. Now it’s time for you to be punished.  I wish things could have been different, but if I go easy on you, I’ll lose my creditability among the troops.  You understand, don’t you?”
“Oh...sure.”
“I was hoping you would take the easy way out, but I see that you want to do this the hard way.”
“There is no other way to do it.”
They stood about twenty feet across from each other waiting to see who would make the first move.
After about five minutes, Aliyah drew her sword and charged Genocide.  After a few slash attacks, she was able to disarm him.  He quickly regained his weapon and continued to defend himself.  Not long after he regained his sword, she disarmed him again.  This time, the sword traveled a distance away from him and became stuck in the wall.  To avoid Aliyah’s attacks, he had to throw objects at her to defend himself.  Eventually he retrieved his sword, but Aliyah cornered him up against the wall.  She was able to cut him across his right cheek, diagonally across his stomach, and up across his shoulder blade, nearly cutting off his head.
After getting cut across the shoulder blade, Genocide became more aware of Aliyah’s skills.  He was able to drive her back with a dome of kinetic energy, which crushed everything around him within a twenty-foot radius.
“All right, you want to get serious? YOU WANT TO GET SERIOUS?  COME ON, LET’S GET SERIOUS!”
His eyes turned a deep red, his skin became scaly, and his face took on a more muscular form.  He started his attack with an energy wave blast.  Aliyah jumped to the side and the energy wave left a hole in the wall. KABOOM! The shockwave shook the entire palace.  Aliyah charged Genocide while swinging her sword from side to side.  This drove him backward into another corner. There, she was able to bring him to the ground by landing a few punches and sword moves. He realized Aliyah was too quick and skillful for him, and he needed a different strategy to even the odds.
He fended her off the best way that he could but was disarmed for a third time.  Instead of going after his sword, he decided to use his powers to absorb her attacks.  When she thrust her sword into his abdomen, he grabbed her by her wrist with one hand and punched her with the other hand.  The punch sent her back into the wall.  He pulled the sword out of his abdomen and used his powers to regenerate himself.  The healing process was beneficial for keeping him physically healthy, but it also drained his body of its energy and power.  Genocide thought he could easily absorb Aliyah’s attacks before he ran out of power.
He took the sword and threw it at Aliyah, missing her by inches, and then he charged her directly.  She retrieved the sword from the wall and moved away from it.  As Genocide came forth, she slashed and jabbed her sword into him.  When he came charging for the second time, she spun around him and was about to stab him in the back when something grabbed her by the arm.  To her surprise, Genocide had grown a tail.  He quickly hit Aliyah with a left hook. Then, with his tail still attached to her arm, he brought her back into position for a downward right hook.  When he brought her back up for a left hook, she was able to twist her body sideways and kick him in the head.  The shot to the head freed her from his grip, and then she started her transformation.  Tattoos began to appear all over her body.  She hit him with a three shot combination and finished off with an overhead blow that sent him through the floor.  He crashed into his favorite sex slave’s den.  She came out of her bedroom to see the commotion.  She saw Genocide surrounded by dust on the floor, just about to get up.  He stood up and began to look down around him.  Under the cloud of dust, he couldn’t see anything. From behind his back, Aliyah dropped down and positioned herself for the ultimate attack.  She channeled all of her body energy into the attack.  If she made direct contact at full strength, it would finish the fight very quickly.
Genocide spun around hoping to spot a glimpse of her, and he looked up to see if she was still up there.  As the dust cleared, he saw Aliyah standing right in front of him.  When he looked back down, he saw that she was in position to launch an attack.  There was no chance for him to dodge her, but at the last second, he activated the device still lodged inside her stomach. The blast still hit Genocide but at half strength, sending him through a five foot thick wall.  The device weakened Aliyah, and she fell down to her knees. She stumbled up onto her feet and used the wall to hold herself up.  She was very confused about what had just happened to her, but she had little time to wonder.  She tried to focus as Genocide emerged from the closet wall hole in his most evil form.  He stood at nine feet tall with scales covering his body, horns sticking out from around his eyes, and his nose and mouth formed into a muzzle. He had formed into a half-man, half-dragon.
Aliyah asked, “What have you done to me damn it?”
Genocide’s voice also changed along with his body.  It sounded human but also like the roar of a Lion.  “Ha, ha, ha! You still can’t detect the device I planted inside you.”
“What device?”
“Just a little something me and the spell-caster cooked up.  It is designed to attach itself to your nervous system and alter your mind and body as I see fit.”
“You...sorry...sack of shit!  That’s why you didn’t want...the area scanned during my fight...with Kenmordre,” Aliyah managed to say.
“Well, I couldn’t take the chance of you finding out my master plan.  Your fight with Kenmordre was perfect timing.  My plan was to sabotage your commands so it would seem like you were losing control.  The plan was supposed to take about three to six months, but your fight with Kenmordre just speeded things up.  Now I don’t have to wait six months. I can make you my sex slave immediately.”
“Ah, so that what it’s all about...all this just to...get some pussy.”
“Yes, the things men do for that special someone...”
“Over my fucking dead body.”
“Oooh, so what about if I leave you just half dead?”
Genocide began to attack Aliyah.  He swung her around like a rag doll from wall to wall.  She was able to land a few punches, but they had no power behind them.  He grabbed her by the ankles and swung her around like a baseball bat, smashing furniture and a column.  When he drew back to smack her face into the floor, she extended her nails and slashed his hands, slipping out from his grasp.  She landed directly in front of him and, before he could react, she took her claws and jabbed them into Genocide’s body.  This was her classic finishing move.  She usually injects her nails into her victim’s body, piercing the heart, and then sent enormous amount of electricity into the body, but she couldn’t even muster up static electricity.  He delivered a crushing overhead blow, tossed her up into the air, and blasted her through the ceiling.
Aliyah landed in Genocide’s cabin.  She struggled to get back to her feet.  Genocide jumped up into the blast hole and landed in his cabin a few feet from her.  When she regained her balance, he knocked her though the den wall into his bedroom on the other side.  He followed her through the hole and landed right above her on top his bed.  She laid face down and seemed unable to move.  To finish her off, he gave her four severe slashes across her back.  With each slash, Aliyah cried out in pain. She passed out after the final slash.
Genocide stopped his attack and figured he may have gone too far.  He wanted to defeat her but not kill her.  He transformed back into his human form and called his medical team.  They tended to Aliyah as she fell into a deep coma.
